Local Medical Transportation
Musk-kosiminiziibing provides patient transportation for local medical appointments between the hours of 9:00am-4:30pm, expect for medical emergencies or prior arrangements. Please call the Health Centre for scheduling.
Out-of-Town Medical Transportation
For out of town medical appointments, Musk-kosiminiziibing administers Health Canada’s Non-insured Health benefits program.
What we ask from client-patients
To help us assist you as quickly as possible, please:
- Forward your appointment slip to the Health Center immediately upon receiving it.
- Complete all required Intake, Waiver, and Release of Information forms when submitting your documents.
- Maintain communication with the Health Center regarding any changes to your appointment or travel needs.
- Provide receipts and attendance confirmation after your appointment to support NIHB reimbursement.
Following these steps will help avoid delays and ensure your travel supports are arranged on time.
