FNIYES Summer Work Experience Program
The First Nations and Inuit Youth Employment Strategy (FNIYES) helps Indigenous youth gain meaningful work experience, build job skills, and prepare for future careers.
The Summer Work Experience Program gives First Nations and Inuit students the chance to work in real jobs during the summer, earning income while learning valuable workplace skills such as teamwork, communication, and professionalism.
Who Can Join:
- First Nations and Inuit youth, ages 15 – 30
- Must be enrolled in secondary or post-secondary school returning full-time in the fall
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
