Esiniiwab Health Centre envisions a future where our members thrive in holistic wellness – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Guided by the strength of our culture, the wisdom of our Elders, and the unity of our community, we walk in balance between traditional teachings and modern health practices to ensure healthier outcomes for this generation and the next seven generations to come.

Mission Statement

Esiniiwab Health Centre is committed to fostering healing, hope, and well-being within the heart of our community. Grounded in Indigenous values and cultural teachings, we strive to:

  • Provide accessible, safe, and culturally responsive health services within our community.
  • Partner with Indigenous-led health agencies and medical professionals to strengthen coordinated care.
  • Deliver compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive services that honour the dignity of every individual.
  • Curate programs that address the diverse and specific needs of all members – from children to Elders.
  • Promote prevention, education, and lifelong learning to empower our people to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Advocate for and support clients in navigating external health systems and available programs.
  • Utilize available resources efficiently and responsibly to meet community needs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate on cultural and seasonal events that bring our community together, honour our traditions, and promote collective wellness.
  • Work toward measurable improvements in health outcomes so that individuals, families, and future generations flourish.
