Big Grassy – First Response Team – Introduction
We are officially notifying the community that we have completed the Ministry of Health, Emergency First Responder Training, and in active status since December 1st.
There are 11 individuals that have been trained in Standard First Aid/BLS/AED, Emergency First Response, PPE, Mask Fit & Special Communicable Disease Training and Compassion Fatigue.
The First Response Team is dispatched through Kenora CACC to emergency calls through a paging system only to Big Grassy 35G.
If and when there is new training being provided we are always looking for volunteer community members to assist with our work in the First Response Team.
